What Were They Thinking?

So, I titled this post, "What Were They Thinking?" because, well, I would like to know;
WHAT. WERE. THEY. THINKING?What part of pumping up their lips do they think makes them attractive?
I just don't get it.

Pamela Anderson:
Did you ever hear of aging gracefully?
Evidently not!

Dolly Parton:
It is not necessary to pump up your lips to match your...
ummmm...you know what's.  You are truly a beautiful woman with a wonderful heart.  Please quit  trying to be "Barbie".

Lisa, Lisa, Lisa!
You look like you had a bee sting reaction on your upper lip.  Honey (no pun intended, or maybe intended) please leave the bee keeping to the professionals.

Goldie Hawn
Those look like they were imported from your behind.
 SO NOT CUTE!

Wha?????
Megan Fox, what part of adorable is this? You look like rubber tires with lipstick.

And Marie, sweetie I love you to pieces...but I must be brutally honest. Those ain't the lips you were born with. I know you have a Las Vegas act and all, but  REALLY? Is that pump job necessary?

Dear Ms. Griffith,
you must ask for a refund for that procedure.
It's all wrong for you.
Embrace you own beauty and let nature have a chance.

What about you, do you think the whole
'PUMP UP THE LIPS'
trend is a little out of hand?

Like most procedures which overly emphasis a body part, I find usually does NOT look nature and ruins the person's appearance.

Fat lips are over the top for sure. My lips are not plumped up. They are actually a bit thin, but not too thin. I like them just the way they are and so does my husband.

Hey Hollyweird, get real! You're sending the wrong message to women. Women can be a gullibly breed. We always compare ourselves to the starlets and doubting every curve and feature of our bodies because we don't look PERFECT.

It took me 40 years to realize I like myself the way God made me. Confidence in a woman is the most sexiest and beautiful qualities she can possess. Skip the plastic surgery girls and boost your confidence instead!

Fun post!

I think it looks silly

Honestly, I think it is ridiculous. You forgot Meg Ryan BTW.. she needs to get her money back as well.

I can understand them wanting fuller lips, but good grief! Surely, there's a happy medium.

Check out #5 on this post. I think you'll like it.

I agree completely!! They look horrid!! I might color my hair in order to cheat Father Time...but I hope I have the good sense God gave a goose to leave my lips alone!!!

Amy beat me to the punch, I was going to mention Meg Ryan too! Those lips seriously make them look deformed and yes, unattractive! What are they thinking anyway??

Hilarious! I also thought of Meg Ryan, I saw a movie with her and her lips were so distracting, not natural looking.

This was a fun post to read. Couldn't agree with you more. I have a hard time believing that they think that looks good!

Plumping isn't my cup of tea that's for sure. I agree with you, they were beautiful the way they are. Just not attractive in my opinion :)

I will leave the overinflated lips to the only one that looks good with them...Plumpy on Candyland.

Yes! I most certainly do! I also think the whole getting a boob job thing is out of hand too! I hope I don't offend anyone with that statement but love what God gave you!

P.S. Meg Ryan I think is the worst offender with the lip thing. I have always loved her but her lip job makes her look like something is wrong. That one made me sad!

P.P.S. Do you think I have much of an opinion? Ha Ha

So true. These women need to leave Hollywood for a while and remember what real women look like. These are all really beautiful women who need to remember that they are pretty just the way they are.

Too bad that these already pretty girls think the pumped lips are a good thing. I confess, tho, that I wouldn't mind a pump job-and "sky hooks"-for my dangly "girls"! LOL Alas, gravity is not their friend. I'm #194. Good luck on getting to 200, sweetie! Stopping by from The Beverly Buzz and Meet Me on Monday hop. blessings on your day.
