MAKEOVER PROJECTS

It seems that I have been doing more collecting of  items for makeovers than actually doing makeovers.

This is where you come in.  I figured that if I posted some of my "projects" targeted for makeovers then I would actually be accountable to someone.  So if you follow me at all and you don't see something posted soon involving something in these pictures then you have the right to CHEW ME OUT!

I picked up this cute watering can at the grocery store of all places in their clearance section for...are you ready for this?   $1.98 (dust and all)  WooHoo!

These flowers may or may not be part of what I am doing with the milk can.  Haven't quite decided yet.

I have had these three wooden plates for a year or two.  I had great intentions when I bought them to do something fabulous with them.  Well you can see how far I have gotten.  By the way, they were .50 each at a yard sale.

Spray paint, scrap book paper are in this items future.

I picked up this board at Goodwill a couple of months ago for $3.99.
Not sure what I will do with it.  Any suggestions????  Feel free to let your ideas flow.

And finally this washboard that has sat in my garage for a couple of years.
What would you do with it?
Paint it?
Leave it as is?
Paint part of it?
Add vinyl?
I am still not sure but I have some ideas.

Looking forward to seeing what you do with all your projects.

The wooden plates would be super cute as a gift with the persons last name or monogram on it! The washboard would be cute if you painted it and put some hooks on it and make it for like a backdoor to hang keys or coats. The other black thing (i'm not sure what it really is) would be cute as a menu board or a memo center! Just some of my ideas! Whatever you do will be super cute though! :) Have fun!

I'm looking forward to seeing your changes to the milk can. I'm wondering if you will paint it ~ perhaps with the oil rubbed bronze color that I've been seeing on a few blogs. I'm considering grabbing a can of it to update a brass candle stand that we purchased at a thrift store several months ago. Whatever you do I'm sure it will turn out nice. Take care.

Oh the plates could be vinyled into something "Fall"ish or "Turkey"ish.

I'm not one to think of crafty ideas so I'll just have to wait and see what you come up with!

I can't wait to see what you come up with. I love the milk can. My Mom had one from her Dad's dairy. They can be great focal pieces.

Love the plates. I can't believe you've had them all this time and haven't put vinyl on them yet. ;-) I like Amie's ideas for the washboard.

The item you are unsure what it is...could it be a calendar holder. I have one that looks similar to it. If not, it would be a cute "Today" board with a list of the day's activities, etc.
