After scanning through my church cookbook I came across the best chocolate cake recipe.
This is by far one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever baked.
1 pkg. devil's food cake mix
1-3oz. package instant chocolate pudding mix
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup canola oil
4 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine cake mix, instant pudding, water, oil, eggs and sour cream. Beat until smooth, about 2 minutes. Gently stir in chocolate chips. Pour into greased bundt cake pan. Bake for 55-60 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes then turn out onto wire rack to cool completely.
Frosting.
2 tbsp. cocoa
3 tbsp. milk
1/4 cup butter
1 lb. powdered sugar
Combine the cocoa, milk and butter in small sauce pan. Bring to a boil over med-high heat. Remove from heat and add powdered sugar, stirring until all lumps are out. Pour over top of cake and let it roll down the sides.
Note: I didn't let the cake cool completely before putting on the frosting and it was DELICIOUS-WARM-AND YUMMY!

Ah you're using a home made recipe for the frosting...did you see the mouth watering one from Amy's post, the one that comes in a squeeze bottle??
Both you girls and your chocolate cakes are killing me!
Looks scrumptious! Oh, I got my package yesterday! It's beautiful--just as I expected. Thanks again!
