...BUT IF THE MALE CAT THAT HAS BEEN SPRAYING MY FRONT PORCH TO MARK HIS TERRITORY DOESN'T WANT TO DIE THEN HE BETTER FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO COURT HIS FELINE FRIENDS! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
Why oh why do people have cats and not get them fixed? Does anyone know of a solution to this problem? The spraying that is, not the ignorant people who have never heard of spaying or neutering.

Double yuck!
That is obnoxious!
You need to download a very LOUD and scary angry snarling barking dog and play it loud when that feline comes around!
We used to have that problem in the past at a different home. It was maddening to say the least. I especially hated them using my garden beds for a litter box. I can feel that anger even now. I hated my neighboring cats. Aarrrrggg. Sorry to say my solution was to sell our home and move. Obviously that's not going to help you. Sorry.
We had a dogs that would take care of (just chase them off) nasty cats for us. But now we use a bb gun. Hubby gets his fun and the sting of the bb only lets the cat know he is unwanted. Good luck. I like animals too....just not when they wreck my stuff!!
Connie, I have read that if you put a food or water bowl in the area that is being sprayed, the cat "may" stop. They want their food area to be clean.. Just a thought.
The cat population is just as if not as bad as rabbits! Females start cycling around 4-7 months have two litters a year with about 4-5 kittens per litter. Actually females don't come out of heat until they are breed then 48 hours after having a litter they come back into heat meaning they can be pregnant and have a nursing litter at the same time.
Feral cats are impossible to tame and spread all kinds of diseases.
It is so important to have your pets spayed and neutered!
I sound like Bob Barker!
What a post! Crack me up!
Sorry I have no idea how to help you. People that let there animals roam free drive me crazy. We live in a suburban neighborhood and have to deal with cats in our trash or using our planting beds as litter boxes. Ugh. We have 2 cats and they never leave our house.
I would use a paint ball gun. Stings them and lets their owners know they are getting somewhere they shouldn't be. Otherwise a good dousing with a water hose if you catch him in your yard. Good luck, while we have a cat because my granddaughter begged, I do not like them, I tolerate ours but she is fixed, doesn't spray and stays inside!
I'm thinking a spray bottle full of water, but that would mean you'd have to sit and wait for him to appear. My other suggestion you wouldn't like at all. (I hate cats.)
