DID SOMEONE SAY SNOW?

JUST LAST WEEK I WAS ABOUT TO DO A POST COMPLAINING ABOUT NOT HAVING ANY SNOW AND IT WAS THE MIDDLE OF JANUARY.

Little did I know that we would be hit with snow for four days straight.  This morning we woke up to about 7 more inches of snow and it was still coming down.  Luckily it stopped and has warmed up and the snow is starting to melt.  I live in what is called the lowlands, that is lower than 200 ft. above sea level.  Those living in the surrounding areas that go up to about 1200 feet got it way worse than we did.  One friend that lives at about 1000 ft. got 28 inches.  That is crazy for this part of the country.  North of us, in the Olympia, Tacoma and Seattle areas are supposed to get more snow today and into tomorrow.

It is really beautiful, especially if I don't have to go anywhere.

Beautiful! I've been watching the rain come in this morning... and there WERE snowflakes mixed in for all of about 10 minutes. I'm marking my calendar... It Snowed! We're at 1000 feet at the top of our property and our house sits about 900 feet or so. I wish the flakes would come back. I love watching it snow.

We got out first snow today - It must have come from your direction.
All winter we have been wondering where it was and today it arrived and with a vengeance I might add!
You are so right it looks beautiful :-D

Beautiful! Your pictures are just gorgeous! My grandkids in the Tacoma area are having a blast. This is the first big snowfall they remember and they are making the most of it. We got an inch or so last week, but it was gone by the end of the day. I like to get at least one good snow a winter, especially if (like you) I don't have to go anywhere!

We got nothing. Nada. Zilch!

We keep hearing about this horrible weather we are supposed to have, all we are having is horrible wind!
