TELL IT LIKE IT IS TUESDAY

After posting yesterday about venting I have decided to do the whole venting post once a month instead of weekly.

Thanks to everyone who shared their thoughts on the subject.
I think Lori summed it up very well, she said:

Venting to someone who can give you perspective and keep you in check is a very healthy way to deal with problems. If you can vent....get it all out and leave it forever...that too is healthy. But if your venting causes you to obsess about the problem...then it becomes unhealthy. I am lucky enough to have several people that I can vent to that help me talk through a situation and then either solve it or leave it by the side of the road.

So here it is, a place to get something off your chest; to leave it 'BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD',  as Lori says.

On of our mutual blog friends commented the other day that she recently ruined a book with some iced coffee, because I had posted that I did the same thing to a brand new magazine that I haven't even looked at yet. Thinking of her ruined book reminds me of something that happenened to us when our son was in Cub Scouts. We had borrowed a Scout handbook from the library and the cover got torn off. So ~~~ I purchased a new copy of the same exact handbook to replace the library book and took both books to the librarian. She didn't appreciate the fact that I replaced the book, rather than pay the extra fees for a ruined book. Sheesh~ It must still bug me after all these years.... LOL.

Glad you're going to continue doing this. I'll start saving up!

I hate phone calls when there isn't a real person on the end but a stupid recorded voice.
Loathe it!
OK, I feel better now.

Dear Mother-in-law,
Please leave me alone. I will never measure up to your excectations an probably never will, but somehow your son still love me. Just admit it so we can get on with our lives. I also don't appreciate you trying to get my child to be on your side. Grow up and get a life already!!!!!!
