TELL IT LIKE IT IS TUESDAY

I guess it is my turn to tell it like it is.

It has been brought to my attention that some people don't think I should offer this feature on my blog.
First of all when I decided to start this once a week feature on my blog my intention was to give anyone who has some pent up frustration a way to just get it off their chest without any backlash or extra drama.

If this feature bothers you then I would say to you:

"If you don't like what you see on my blog then you are invited to not come back, it's as simple as that."

You see, that is the beauty of blogging. You can pick and choose blogs that you enjoy and if you find something offensive then you just move on. If I lose followers because of this weekly feature then so be it, I can't make everyone happy all of the time and I am sure there will be people who disagree with me on this issue.
 SO BE IT!

I am not forcing or encouraging anyone to be mean spirited and my intention is NOT to let this become a forum for ongoing personal issues between two parties.  I preview all comments and if I find something that is inappropriate then I just don't post it.  Let's just not make this out to be more than what it is people!

With that being said, whatch got on your mind?  Let's hear all about it.

Wow.. seriously? It really burns me up when people come out of the woodwork to tell you what you shouldn't be doing, yet seldom comment on all the great posts you have to offer on a regular basis. Obviously I'm be presumptuous about this.. but I speak from experience.

Good for you Connie. Tell'em like it is!

Sorry to hear that you've had some negative feedback on YOUR blog. During the week I thought of something I wanted to save to post here today for 'Tell It Like It Is Tuesday'. Only now that it's finaly Tuesday ~~~ I can't remember what I wanted to post about. It must not have been as irritating as I thought. That or I'm truely having an extra early senior moment. I prefer to think that it just wasn't that important.

Anyway, I just wanted to say:

It's your blog, your way, and that's the way I like it.

I love your blog! And like you said, they don't have to stick around to read what you have to say!! I'll keep coming back, because I like seeing what crafty creativenes you come up with! :) Some people will never be happy no matter what you do! Have an awesome week!

People are giving you a bad time? That's just crazy. Like you said, they don't have to read it.

Here's what I need to get off my chest today:

People, can you just put your shopping carts where they belong?! Drives me crazy to start to pull into a spot only to find someone has left their cart there. If people are too lazy to push it where it belongs, then they need to park next to the cart return. There. Rant over.

Wow that is interesting. Hhhhmmmm

Today I would like to vent about the jerk who forgot to get himself into the turn lane for the freeway this afternoon and when he realized that almost smooshed me in his effort to move over into the turn lane - I could not see him or a blinker because he was right next to me and I just had no idea until he started moving over and I was like "Hey buddy you are going to hit me". JERK!

Most of my vents are about driving - LOL!

Dear People at Church,
My husband is not your personal servant. He's not at my beck and call, so what makes you think he's at yours? I don't call him at work, because he is busy and doesn't need to be answering calls that can wait till later. But you call him--all the time. What makes you think this is okay?

My yard is half mowed. I can't tell you the last time we ate dinner together. Give him a break! Ever heard of self-reliance? Geeze!

Ooh ooh ooh Connie. Such a spicy blog. I SO LOVE that you are sticking to you guns. I hate when the silent minority spoils things for the rest of us. I love every comment. ROFL at the lady that forgot her gripe. The last comment? WOW!!! Dare I say it? I wonder if her husband is the bishop? I am laughing because I have looked at my honey do list sometimes. But it could be elders quorm president too eh ...ooh the possibilities. Myabe he is a pastor of another church too eh. LOL

Wow...I so agree with you when you "tell it like it is" and it is your blog and everyone else should do whatever they want on their own blogs as well. I really hate the way some blogs have turned into websites for marketers just trying to make a buck with adds and ebooks, etc. Blogging started out as on-line journaling and a way to connect with like-minded individuals who wanted to share similar interests...or even a difference of opinion. Not everythig in blogging is about collecting followers and money.

Thank you to all of you who have commmented on this post. It was nice to be heard. Although I don't want to hurt anyones feelings I do feel the need to defend myself and my blog.

I am with you Roberta. Blogging has become pretty commercial. I tend to shy away from those who's blogs are so clogged with advertising, I enjoy the blogs that share talents and stories and photographs. There is something comforting about finding an 'old soul' that you can connect with.

To all you 'old soul' blogging buddies, Thank You for sharing yourselves.
