I found this pedestal cake plate the other day at Goodwill. I can't believe my luck, I never find the good stuff.
This is a casserole dish I found today at Goodwill. I have zeroed in on black and white dishes and hope to be able to find many more to add to my collection (of 1 so far).

What great finds. Sometimes I have good luck. You just have to be at the thrift stores at the right time. That is what I do at least twice a week. It such seems like I forget about everything and really enjoy myself.I am so glad I found your blog.I love new blogging friends. Visit me when you can.

Oh that dish is so beautiful! I have a cake pedestal just like yours. I still can't figure out why it has the little hole in the middle. Is it just a convenient spot to put all the cake crumbs? I'm sure there has to be a real reason for it. Maybe if I baked more often I could figure it out.
