DANG NABBIT!!!

Shoot!  I dropped my camera one too many times and I am sure it is done for.

It is a Cannon Power Shot.

Let's have a moment of silence please.
"........................................."

It is very similar to the silver camera above.

OK, now that I have mourned for awhile I have a question for you.

WHAT KIND OF CAMERA WOULD YOU RECOMMEND I REPLACE IT WITH?
My budget is $300 or less.  What would be the best camera for the price?

I don't have an idea for you on the camera. I'm bummed that you need to replace yours especially just before Christmas. Phooey, but the upside is you'll have a new toy to get used to before Christmas is here. Now that's fun! Take care and I'm looking forward to photos from the new camera.

I would save and get a DSLR. You would have so much fun with that.

I don't have a little one so I really should keep my mouth shut.

Sorry about the camera carcass. Hopefully you've been a very good girl and Santa will bring you your heart's desire!

Well doesn't that stink!

My daughter uses a Nikon COOLPIX S4000. It has a nice retractable Nikkor zoom lens.
It's conveniently small (fits in your jean pocket), takes movies, (with sound) and has photo editing tools on the screen (touch screen by the way) Its really a sweet little camera. I think we paid less than $200. She's had it for a year and it has held up really well.

Sorry about the camera!! That stinks for sure!!

I agree with Tauna - You should save a little more and get a DSLR like a Canon Digital Rebel. You would enjoy it.

Hopefully, Santa will take care of you! I've sent him my request for a new camera too ~ a Canon. Fingers crossed!
