(image courtesy of Xara Xone)Tonight hubby and I are hosting a backyard camp (grandpa gets the privilege of sleeping in the tent with them, I will be inside thank you very much) for our grandchildren. There are six of them, a 2 yr. old, 3 yr. old, 4 yr. old, 7 yr. old, and two 9 yr. olds. We have games, prizes, campfire with s'mores, campfire sing-a-longs and maybe a few scary stories. Dinner will be macaroni and cheese and hot dogs with ice-cream cones for dessert. And if that isn't enough junk food we will be buying doughnuts from the bakery for breakfast with some hot cocoa.
Check back in a few days and see if I am still sane.

I want to come!! Sounds like a lot of fun! Why weren't we invited again??? Oh ya, cousin's only... I see how it is! Well does a cousin in the making count??? Cause I would have to be there to be able to bring her. haha :) Have fun!!! You guys are the best grandparents!

I am so happy for you and your sister. I was NEVER close to my sister, who happens to be two years older than me too. You are very blessed. Keep the stories coming, they make me smile.
