Thrift Store Finds

You know how sometimes you just hit it lucky at a thrift store? Well yesterday I hit it just right at my local GW and found these soft pale gold Pfaltzgraff dinner plates for .79 each. I thought they would be pretty used for a fall table setting.
Then I saw this beautiful cookie jar/crock. After knocking a few people out of the way {not really but I would have if someone stepped in my way} I casually walked over and SNATCHED this puppy off the shelf. I noticed it was 50% off all green tags for the day. The original price was $4.99 so I got it for $2.50.
I love it when that happens, it makes my day to find a bargain.

You know something? I do NOT find deals like that. I just don't. Our GW store never has anything. I don't know why... I must go at all the wrong times.

Those plates and cookie jar are fabulous!! Your right, perfect for Fall!

Good hunting! I bought a bowl in Italy that looks a lot like your plates, except it's a soft green.

Great finds!! I love GW. I am stalking mine right now looking for a table/dresser/hutch (not sure yet) to use in my entry.

You know how to find 'em! 79 cents a plate? That's awesome!

I'm thinking I need to go thrift store shopping more often. I never find anything, but I probably don't look often enough.
