Inspired By Anthropologie Botanicals

I was looking at the Anthropologie Web site for wall decor and came across these two pen and ink sketches that were reproduced from an 19th century sketchbook. Well, they were a teeny-tiny little bit out of my price range at $498 each.

So I did what any frugal penny pinching woman would do, I made my own version.

I found some botanical images in my computer fonts and cut some out of vinyl. I applied the flowers to an artists canvas and put ribbon all around the edge to frame them in. I figured I saved about $981 by doing them myself.

{Sorry about the poor quality of the photo, I had to take it at night in artificial light.}

I am linking up with these parties:

Seriously... I like yours better. Not even kidding. I truly love Anthropology, but they are way out of my price range. Very nice Connie!
