As you can see from these two photo's, (above and below) my laundry/mud room was a little cluttered with no cute factor at all. Don't get me wrong, it is very functional. I do laundry here, hang up coats, store dog and cat food, wash things in the utility sink, throw family room clutter in there when company comes, (oops, I am giving TMI).
Because the cleaning/de-cluttering bug usually hits me in January I decided that this room needed some attention.
I did some throwing away, putting away and deep cleaning, even moving the washer and dryer and mopping under them. No more cobwebs, dust or clutter was to be found when I got finished.
CHECK IT OUT BELOW:
I didn't buy one thing to enhance my laundry room, I just did some "in-home shopping" and came up with some items to 'cutsify' (that is not a word according to spellcheck but I use it all the time) my laundry space. I also made the Laundry sign and the Laundry Schedule sign using my Silhouette Cameo and boards I already had on hand.
I also added a Scentsy candle warmer which made its smell as good as it looks. I just may have to actually do some laundry just so I can hang out in here.

So cute!! Well done!! Now laundry isn't as much of a chore as it was before :)
My last load is in the dryer. My laundry room is very plain and across the hallway from our bedroom. It's also Liberty's bedroom. Someday it'll get new paint. But it's pretty low on the priority list right now. Other rooms have priority when we get back to our painting job. Still not anxious for that. Take care.
Connie, Connie, what a lovely make over!! So cute and you're right, it does make one want to hang out and do laundry!
Nicely done!!!
That is so darling!!!!
Makes me want to do laundry!
Well, not really.
BUT it is darling.
Wow! It looks great, Connie! Awesome makeover:)
Cute! Much better!
