Hubby and I took a little day trip across the mountains to Yakima, WA on Saturday and I had the opportunity to meet up with a wonderful friend I have met through blogging. Her name is Saimi (pronounced Sigh-Me). She is simply one of the nicest people I have ever met, just from her blog I knew she was an awesome person but to meet her in person was such a blessing and confirmed what a sweetheart she truly is. It felt like we were friends from way back. That is her on the right, we are holding the witches shoes craft that I had made and posted about here on my blog a couple of weeks age. She had indicated in the comments section of my blog that she would be interested in purchasing the shoes and being as I knew we would be making a trip her way I thought it would be a wonderful time to finally meet her. She also sent us on our way with a box of THE BEST PEACHES I HAVE EVER EATEN! Thanks Saimi, I look forward to meeting up again soon.

I love meeting "new" friends. Hard to call them new when you feel like you know so much about them :) You and I will meet someday. Maybe we'll do lunch. Maybe Jim will get a job in Yakima after all. Who knows. Glad you two got to meet.
FUN!
I agree, she is a sweet heart, even though we've not met in person. :O)
Now that's an extra special road trip having the opportunity to meet up with Saimi. I'm so glad you let us know how to pronounce her name.
I had it wrong.
I'm so terrible with names.
My high school girlfriend changed her name back to her given name several years ago. I struggle to write her name when in my head she will always be J... as she was in high school.
That is so stinking cute of you both!!!!!
How fun to meet.
Saime sent her son who was attending BYUI over with some bubble wrap. I had posted a blog post about me taking several falls. That just cracked me up.
You both are such awesome women!
I'm so jealous! She does seem like a very special person. It's fun how close we can become through blogging... I'm so glad I "met" you... maybe one of these days we can meet too! Huggies!
Vicki said exactly what I was going to say!
