Pay It Forward... Crafting Style

dI came across this posting over at Creations by Lanie What a great idea. Please hurry and be one of the first five to comment and I will send you something hand crafted sometime in the near future. Don't forget to leave an e-mail address so I can contact you.

The picture posted below is a sample of something I might make and send.

"Making handcrafted items is a dying art, but they are so fun to make and get! So, here's a little game to encourage the handcrafting to live and thrive. The first 5 people to leave a comment on this post, will receive, at some point during the year, a super-duper handmade gift from me! What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise. The catch is that you must participate as well :) So before you leave your comment here, write up (or copy and paste) a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going. Then, come back, let me know you are going to play, and anticipate the arrival of your super-duper handmade gift! Remember that only the FIRST FIVE comments will receive a gift from me, so be quick! This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantee that you will like what I make. But, I will try my best to make sure that you do :)
2. It will be done this year (hopefully sooner than later)
3. You will have no clue what or when it will be.
Please make sure to leave your e-mail address too so I can get a hold of you. Have Fun!

I am thankful for... Whoever invented Blogs. It is such a fun and creative outlet

From the kitchen... I have some bananas that are pretty dark so I guess I will be making banana bread

I am wearing... black jeans and a red shirt

I am reading... The Necklace

I am hoping
... Good health, safety for my family and Good and wise decisions made by our President. (I am actually a little scared for our country)

I am creating... Table runners

I am hearing... the television

Around the house... Remodeling. Living room is getting finished up and hopefully I will be able to paint this weekend and then the french doors can go in.

One of my favorite things
... watching grandchildren

A few plans for the rest of the week... up my blogging skills. (there are some really talented bloggers out there)

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...This is my father-in-law and his sister wearing some funny glasses. We had so much fun with those glasses at our family reunion a couple of years ago. What a hoot!

GOODWILL FINDS

I found this pedestal cake plate the other day at Goodwill. I can't believe my luck, I never find the good stuff.

This is a casserole dish I found today at Goodwill. I have zeroed in on black and white dishes and hope to be able to find many more to add to my collection (of 1 so far).
