Weekend Thrifty Finds

Another linky party is happening over at Southern Hospitality where people share what treasures they have found either at garage sales or thrift shops. Check out what Rhoda has been up to in her neck of the woods.

Here are four plates that I have added to my collection for my garden border.

These were all found at garage sales for 1.00 or less.I found these wall plant holders at a church rummage sale. The price tags were still attached from Ross; 15.99 each. I paid 5.00 each for them. I can't wait until we get our new patio done next spring so I can plant some geraniums and trailing plants in them.

I have been on the lookout for items that can be remade into chalk boards. I found these three at Goodwill for 3.00-4.00 each.

I also found this lap tray at Goodwill. I will also be doing a makeover on it. Spray paint, fabric, ribbon, scrapbook paper etc. Wish me luck.

I got two of these plates for .79 each. These will get vinyl lettering applied to them.

I loved the shape of this platter, the butterfly not so much. Spray paint is in it's future.
