Goodwill Makeover

I recently found this small shelf/drawer at Goodwill. I paid 5.99 for it. With a little help from some black paint and some scrapbook paper I was able to give it some life. I think it would look cute with some cookbooks on the top or maybe a cute plate on an easle. What do you think?

  1. This came out so cute! I kinda of picture a display with the drawer open and a hanky or doily hanging over the drawer with some smaller cookbooks on the shelf to the left and couple of utensils (wisk etc)in the drawer leaning on the doily toward the left and a lift inside the drawer with an easel and plate on top of that angled on the right. This would create 3 levels of objects. Maybe not?...just my thoughts. Would love to see a picture of how you decide to decorate it.

  6. Great idea for the drawer. Reminds me I've got to get busy on my $2.50 end table I found at a yard sale. I'm doing paper on the top also. What glue did you use for yours?
